| Members of the 1st graduating class (5th graders) of Ponderosa Elementary School, the Board of Education and Superintendent Ron Cabrera cut the ribbon during the reception celebrating the opening of the district's newest school on Aug. 31. Families, members of the community, school and district staff attended the event, which featured combined choirs from Mary Blair Elementary and Ponderosa under the direction of Susan Harding; speeches, refreshments and tours of the building.
