Loveland Area Integrated School for the Arts (LISA)
The Loveland Area Integrated School of the Arts (LISA) is an option for students with a high passion for learning through the arts.
Garfield Elementary, Bill Reed Middle School and Mountain View High School integrate art into the curriculum. This project is a cooperative effort of business people, artists, the University of Northern Colorado, arts teachers and other educators who saw the value of teaching to different learning styles in a community with a strong arts culture.

Garfield Elementary LISA is an integrated arts program that provides learning opportunities through the use of the visual arts, music, and movement. The students learn content through a multi-modality approach that supports the varied ways that students learn. The staff participates in professional development for integrated arts. The goals for the LISA program are to: support student learning through a multi-sensory approach and to develop an appreciation for the arts with focus on creativity and critical thinking.
Bill Reed Middle School LISA fosters integrated arts learning opportunities in a diverse environment to promote student growth through their individual passion for the arts. LISA recognizes the power of learning through the arts. The LISA curriculum is designed to develop talent and encourage passion in the fields of visual and performing arts. LISA students will have opportunities to perform, appreciate and understand the arts through a variety of cultures and experiences.
Mountain View High School LISA offers creative, artistic and motivated students a challenging pre-AP curriculum in the setting of a modern, comprehensive high school. The school-within-a-school model allows students to participate in all Mountain View activities for which they qualify. The LISA program emphasizes critical thinking and problem solving through an arts-infused curriculum in language arts, social studies, and science.
