Distribution of Materials to Students
Any material distributed to students outside of a school event must be approved through Communication and Community Resources. District Policy KHC, which addresses distribution of materials to students or posting materials at schools, is the guide used to determine approval. Marketing for businesses is not allowed. Youth-related community events and non-profit activities are.
Once an item is approved, the principal always has final say as to whether he or she will distribute it at a specific school.
People who receive permission must include that form with packets divided for each school. These bundles must be taken to the district mail room at 2890 N. Monroe Ave. where they will be placed in school mailboxes and delivered.
