Student Assessment
The Assessment Office of the Thompson School District oversees the district's comprehensive assessment system. A variety of tests are used in all grade levels to measure the progress of students as they work toward achievement of the knowledge and skills stated in the content area standards. These test results provide critical information for parents and students, teachers and administrators, the Board of Education and the community.
The results are used to monitor student growth, make instructional decisions, evaluate programs and provide accountability. The Assessment Office is responsible for the administration of the Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP).
The district's annual report and the achievement reports for elementary, middle and high schools are also produced by the Assessment Office.
